S8nations

OUR STORY

S8nations is a Swiss-based non-governmental organization comprising of a community of people from the most innovative countries. Founded by James Breiding, the author of What Goliath Can Learn from David: Big Lessons from Small Nations. Progress increasingly emanates from smaller, experimental nations adapting to external forces and able to intermediate political consensus. They are the “laboratories” arriving at the future first. Contrast this to the gridlock or autocratic leadership many large nations experience. S8nations believes that excellence matters, not size.

OUR MISSION

• To raise awareness of outstanding achievements from small nations and facilitate learning and progress.
• To encourage “leading by example” by establishing an S8nations certificate of excellence, identifying outstanding policies and encouraging their proliferation.
